Meet Zach Berly, Libertarian for NC House 53
Zach Berly is the Libertarian candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives District 53 in Harnet County.
Zach is a 22-year-old recent graduate of Campbell University and native of Harnett County. He was born in Fayetteville and raised in Lillington, where he attended middle and high school before earning a degree in broadcasting from Campbell.
Zach is a sports play-by-play commentator. He served in leadership roles in the Republican Party youth organizations. He was forced out by Donald Trump’s populist takeover and welcomed into the Libertarian Party in 2017.
Meet Adrian Travers, Libertarian Candidate for NC House 11
Adrian Travers is the Libertarian candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives District 11.
Adrian was born in Hampton, Va., and raised on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.
Adrian’s career path has taken him in multiple directions and included both blue and white-collared jobs, including service in the U.S. Army. He was a flooring/tile installer for several years in Oklahoma and worked in the casino industry in Washington state, where he eventually became a pit boss and supervisor.
After his move to Raleigh in 2010, Adrian worked in retail sales as a manager for Payless Shoe Source. At the same time, he managed two casino party companies in the area. When these companies closed, Adrian followed his passion for local breweries and distilleries by becoming the Lead Alchemist and bar manager at the Four Points by Sheraton of North Raleigh on Capital Blvd.
Meet Dee Watson, Libertarian for NC House 49
Dee Watson is the Libertarian candidate for North Carolina House of Representatives District 49.
Dee has devoted her professional life to oncology research. She believes it’s the most effective way to minimize the devastating impact of cancer.
She was born in upstate New York near Buffalo. The network of academic institutions and industry in the Triangle made the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill her first choice for graduate school in 1996.
She met her husband there, and in 2003 they moved to Cary, to be close to the SAS daycare.
Dee was a statistician at Duke University for 10 years and contracted to the pharmaceutical industry as a statistical programmer for 10 years. She’s currently a statistical programmer in clinical trials at Provoniz, a contractor for GlaxoSmithKline.
