Cecil Bothwell is on the Asheville City Council and a former Democrat who recently left the party due to the disenfranchisement of Bernie Sanders supporters.

Carl Mumpower is a former member of the Asheville City Council and Republican with a long history of community and political involvement in Buncombe County.

William Meredith is the Libertarian Party candidate for NC Senate 49 running in a two-way race against Democrat Terry van Duyn.

Tony Ngege is a leader in the Buncombe County Green Party.

The event will be moderated by Nathan Phillips, chairman of the Buncombe County Libertarian Party, who will also give a statement regarding voter representation before the panel discussion. It is co-sponsored by the Green Party.
