Gubernatorial Candidates
Mike Ross has lived in the Charlotte area for more than two decades with his wife of 18 years and their son. He obtained degrees in business and finance before becoming a Certified Financial Planner.
After getting his start in tech, he began working in the corporate sector in the early 2000s until he left to start “My Money Coach” in 2018 to help provide quality financial advice to people of all economic backgrounds.
Using the Golden Rule as his guide, he works hard to provide for his family and to help others in need.
His modesty and selfless attitude have led him to become active in his community, non-profit groups, and movements like the Sunshine Project.
When he is not running his business, homeschooling his son, or working with various groups that serve those in need, he and his family enjoy spending time by attending church, going to the gun range, and having family nights at their Gaston County home.
Shannon Bray is a technology entrepreneur who focuses on providing solutions to a wide range of industries on behalf of Microsoft. Shannon started his information technology career shortly after being honorably discharged from the Navy. Over the past 30 years, Shannon has designed technical solutions for the federal government and has worked for several federal agencies. Shannon has also authored a number of books and technical training courses. He ran for US Senate in North Carolina in 2020 and 2022.
Shannon lives in Apex. All three of his children—Eden, Hayden, and Kenna—go to different schools in Wake County.
Presidential Candidates
I’m running because our country is run by totalitarians, like those that came after me at NYU. They have taken over the government, most large corporations, and nearly all cultural institutions. They have us struggling to make ends meet as prices and debts skyrocket, savings dwindle, and Americans are kowtowed into silence and compliance for fear of having their voices or even their livelihoods cancelled.
All this while the U.S. regime escalates conflicts with world powers and focuses more on promoting a woke political agenda than it does on the prosperity, liberty, safety, and security of the American people.
I have three children, a grandson, and another grandson on the way.
I am fighting for the future they deserve, a future in which individual liberty and opportunity are paramount.
Chase Oliver is a 37-year-old Libertarian activist living in Atlanta. Dubbed “…the most influential Libertarian in America…” by Rolling Stone, Oliver is a champion of the rights of the individual against the growing power of the state. He began his political activism opposing the War in Iraq under George Bush, aligning with the Libertarian Party after an encounter at the Atlanta Pride Festival in 2010.
In 2020 he ran for Congress in Georgia’s 5th district to complete the term of the late civil rights icon John Lewis. In 2022, he ran for US Senate, debating incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker’s empty podium. Oliver was widely credited with causing the runoff election between Warnock and Walker. He advocates the adoption of Ranked Choice Voting to avoid future runoffs.
Lars Mapstead is a tech entrepreneur, road racing enthusiast, and 2024 Libertarian Candidate for President. He grew up in poverty, living out of a small barn in Big Sur, California until the death of his grandfather in a hit-and-run accident. Bounced around from relative to relative, he overcame alcohol, drugs, and incredible odds to found and co-found multiple companies, including FriendFinder Networks, Fupa Games, and Legendary Speed.
As Lars built his businesses, he has watched as in election after election third parties and American voices are being silenced. Americans are being forced to vote for the same two parties, and nearly the exact same candidates, over and over again. Lars is running for President in 2024 to unrig our economy, our election system, and our criminal justice system, and ensure every American has a fair chance at achieving the American Dream.
David Dunlap, also known as Trime Traveler, presents a comprehensive 65,568-page Radical Restructuring plan for America. Often likened to the "American Javier Milei," Trime firmly rebuts with the notion that J. Milei is indeed the Argentinian Leatherface.
Trime Traveler's RRP proposes a transformative shift by eliminating the federal reserve and introducing a decentralized digital currency tied to the stability of a low-volatility commodity. Furthermore, the plan aims to streamline government operations by merging and/or dissolving redundant and unnecessary agencies, ultimately achieving a balanced federal budget and eradicating the deficit in under 15 years.
Despite facing homelessness since 2017, Trime Traveler demonstrated remarkable financial acumen, turning a mere $500 into a substantial sum exceeding 1 million dollars between 2020 and 2023. In lieu of seeking donations, Trime Traveler generously imparts investment advice, expressing concern over taxpayers being taken advantage of by politicians who campaign with public funds, knowing they have slim chances of winning.
One big reason that I am running for president is that I want to bring an end to the killing machine that the federal government has become under both Democrats and Republicans. We don't know exactly how many people this killing machine has killed in the last 60 or 70 years, but it certainly has to number in the millions. That's nothing to scoff at. When it comes to killing, there is no doubt that both Democrats and Republicans have made America number one.
Mike campaigned in 2021-22 as the Libertarian Party candidate in the January special Congressional election in Florida’s District 20. He served as a police officer in Broward County from 2010 through 2021 as a registered libertarian.
Mike’s prior career in finance and economics included work with banks as a commercial loan officer, the White House Office of Management and Budget as a financial economist, and as a consulting economist to three other federal and international agencies in the field of economic development.
From 1992 through 2002, Mike was an advocate in Washington for free markets in the financial services industry. In 2002, he started a professional education business for bank executives which he successfully ran until 2009, including conferences, webcasting, and strategic consulting.
Mike has traveled through thirty-five countries, taught economics at three universities and substituted at dozens of Broward public schools. He has one wife, two kids and two stepdaughters, two dogs and one truck, a BS in Aeronautical Engineering and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and MS and PhD degrees in Economics from The George Washington University.
