Vote on Convention Theme

We are so excited for the 2026 Libertarian Party of North Carolina Annual State Convention. This year, we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary of our founding, and we are planning our biggest, boldest, most inspiring and successful convention yet. This site will update as we have more information to share. For now, we have options to book tickets under our "Super Early Bird" pricing or to book a room with our room block.

Next week, we will have options available to purchase a business table or a sponsorship, and to vote in our convention theme contest.

Look for an official convention announcement in your inbox and on this site on Wednesday, November 12, 2026.

On December 12, we will announce the final agenda, speakers, entertainment, and other plans for convention, including options for family, friends, and loved ones to come enjoy beautiful Lake Lure, NC, without participating directly in the business portion.

Ticketing

For the 2026 50th Anniversary Convention, the LPNC is charging for tickets a little differently than in prior years. For our "Super Early Bird Rate," lock in before November 15. We will reward those who take the risk and buy the tickets before we announce speakers, lineup, or an agenda for convention.

After that, we will offer "Early Bird Pricing," with a discount for everyone who books their tickets prior to the end of 2025.

Normal ticket prices will set in for the month of January, and the final ticket prices will activate on February 1.

If you are bringing a friend, family, a significant other, or someone else to enjoy the magic of Lake Lure and celebrate at the Gala, but who will not participate in the business portion of convention, note that we are offering a second gala ticket purchase for $75. This price will remain constant through February 28, 2026. Note that we will not be able to sell additional gala tickets as of February 28, as we will have given the venue our final headcount numbers.

Business tickets will remain available for purchase up until registration for convention closes the morning of Saturday, March 28, 2026. Those tickets will be $100 if purchased anytime in March. 

If you have any questions about ticket pricing for convention this year, or have concerns about the cost, please reach our, and we will help try to make accommodations, and also help you explore some other options. We don't want to exclude anyone - you make the LPNC and we want you to participate.
