Conclusion
In as many words as you'd like, explain why you are a pro-Liberty candidate or would increase Liberty in the state during the upcoming NCGA term? The LPNC will post your entire response to our website. |
Comparing my Republican opponent's responses and website with mine, it is evident that I advocate for a more liberty-centric agenda. My campaign, the "Kordon For Liberty Committee," is aptly named to reflect my genuine intentions. My earnest campaign efforts have even appeared to sway my Republican opponent into adopting some of my policies. His concern for Libertarian voters led him to complete this survey just a day before I did, a move I respect. However, we must remember that Mr. Hensley has shown a lack of transparency, mocked Libertarians online, made bigoted remarks about Jews in April, and even made light of violence against environmentalist cyclists. Moreover, he has advocated for making face masks illegal and for doubling public school teachers' salaries—positions he has since retracted, indicating his lack of transparency. I appreciate his participation in this survey and his attention to your opinion... a sentiment I am unsure I can extend to my Democrat opponent, who has quietly expressed a desire to raise taxes and increase spending. In comparison with Governor Candidate Mike Ross, our views align, though I take a slightly more moderate stance. To stand a chance of election and to pass legislation, I must prioritize gradual changes, allowing North Carolinians to adjust to their new freedoms and decide if they wish for more. Only modest reductions in spending and taxes will be palatable to general election voters from someone who has yet to win an election, plus this approach offers the best chance for my reelection. My Liberty platform includes distinct positions: (1) curtailing the Governor's powers, (2) enabling North Carolina to secede from the United States peacefully, (3) reducing school funding for administrators and social workers, (4) safeguarding neurodiverse individuals from workplace discrimination, and (5) awarding prisoners backpay for completed prison labor to aid their reintegration. Rob Yates tells me I am well-liked within the Party. Mike Ross has gone as far as saying he thinks I can win my race! I have fundraised more money than most other Libertarians running for NC House and I will be knocking on neighborhood doors. I have been on podcasts and in new articles. Help me reach my goal of getting at least 7% of the vote on November 5th! Let us break all-time records in the name of liberty and no compromises! Let us stand tall together so that the Democrat Incumbent takes liberty, equality, environmentalism, representation, reforms, and economics seriously in the event that she gets reelected. |
