Join us in Clemmons, NC on the weekend of May 16th-18th for the 2025 LPNC Convention where we will toast Cheers to Rebellion! Everyone wants to live their own lives their own way, for their own needs, and according to their own values. Join the Libertarian Party of North Carolina, the only political party that leaves your life choices where they belong... with you!

We'll be meeting at the Village Inn Hotel and Event Center for a weekend of business, enlightening speakers, and fun activities such as a New Silent Auction and a Photo Booth! Tickets include all convention activities, plus a catered Gala on Saturday. We will also have a Friday evening reception from 7pm-10pm.

Bylaws Committee Report

The Bylaws Committee is currently working on their report.

Debate on this report will be one of the three major business items of the Convention. The others being the election of the LPNC Executive Committee and Judicial Committee.

We urge all LPNC members, particularly those attending the Convention, to read the report and come prepared to offer meaningful suggestions on how to improve it.

Ticketing

All those in attendance must have a ticket and will be given a ribbon at registration. Only party members can be made delegates or alternates and only delegates and alternates can vote. Membership criteria for the Libertarian Party of North Carolina can be found here.

Event ticket, without Gala—$100

Saturday business and the Sunday presidential event.

Saturday Business Only —$75 (May 17th, 2025. 9:30am-5:00pm)

This session will be available May 17, 2025 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. This is an option for those driving in for the day to participate in only the voting portion of the convention.

Day 2 (Sunday) Only —$75

This is an option for those driving in for the day to participate in only the training and speaking sessions on Day 2.

Speakers

Keynote Speaker—Dr. Mary Ruwart

“I’m Dr. Mary Ruwart, Chair of Liberty International, and I’m delighted to be the keynote speaker at the 2025 LPNC Convention. My Saturday evening keynote address is called How Well Does the CDC’s Vaccination Schedule Serve Our Children? Sunday morning, I’ll be giving an additional session called How Can the Libertarian Party Increase Its Success? I love coming to North Carolina, where I resided for four years, to visit with my libertarian buddies there! Won’t you please consider joining me?”

Opening Remarks—Christine Villaverde

Christine Villaverde is a Liberty-focused politician who has run for U.S. House NC District 2, and NC Secretary of State, among other races and political activity. She cites the Mises Institute and Per Bylund as influences, and lists personal Liberty as among her highest values. She will be reflecting on how far the U.S has drifted from the Founders’ original vision.

Gala, Silent Auction, and more

This year’s Gala promises to be one of the most fun in years, so come and let loose with like-minded Liberty warriors, and celebrate the end of the business portion of convention. This year, the silent auction will feature tons of great donated items, as well as the affiliates basket contest. We will have an even better photo booth than last year, a casino corner fundraiser, music, dedicated bar service in the room, and more…
