Everybody complains about government being too intrusive but no one does anything about it…except you! Yep, you can improve life for yourself, your family, and your fellow citizens right here in Wake County…and you don’t need to run for office (and win the election) to do so!
Libertarian Natalie Wu Turner has served on the Orange County Human Relations Commission for over two years. Although she kept a relatively low profile at first, by now everyone on the commission knows she is a Libertarian…but she is so well-respected by the other commissioners and staff that they have asked her to write a weblog for the HRC.
Natalie will tell us why she chose to focus on the HRC (out of over 40 CABs that exist in Orange County), how she manged to get appointed, what she did to earn their trust, and when she is able to inject the occasional note of sanity into the deliberations of what tends to be a liberal-oriented, government-overreach-happy group.
Not only is Natalie making a positive difference for the denizens of Orange County, but she is gaining valuable knowledge about who’s who and how politics works in Orange County…knowledge that will be valuable in future should she run for office…or share with another Libertarian who is running in Orange County.
So please come and learn how you can do the accomplish the same thing!
