if you haven’t had an opportunity to say goodbye to The Colony movie art house yet—closing in December after two decades-plus in North Raleigh—here’s your best chance: our Liberty Outing to see the Firefly movie, “Serenity.”
- Who: Brad Hessel, WakeLP Treasurer, will host
- What: WakeLP pre-movie social—shared with the Raleigh Browncoats—in the Colony lounge (beer, wine, soda, snacks available)
- When: 6pm Sunday, December 6th, 2015 (“Serenity” showing starts at 7pm…$5 admission charge)
- Where: The Colony
Come at 6pm and socialize with other Triangle area libertarians…and stay to watch the movie spawned from the Joss Whedon TV series whose “central theme seems to concern the ineptitude of strong central government and its tendency to oppress and stifle rather than free or secure.” Or just attend one or the other.
If you are not familiar with it, here is more info about “Firefly.”
