Haugh Wasn't Invited, Won't Be Watching Senate Debate

Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh wasn't invited to the U.S. Senate debate being aired tonight. But he's not upset. In fact, he won't even be listening.

“I'm going to spend the night doing something truly productive by showing up for my regular shift at work delivering pizzas,” he said in his latest YouTube video statement.

“Don't be fooled; they aren't talking to you tonight,” Haugh said of his opponents, Democrat Kay Hagan and Republican Thom Tillis. “Those two are auditioning for the political class over which one puts the best face on corporate special interest control of our government.”

Haugh said that if anyone wants to know what he thinks they should follow his campaign manger, Rachel Mills, on Twitter @ladyjade during the program.

“She speaks for me just fine,” he said.

Haugh has been invited to the debate scheduled in Wilmington Oct. 9 and sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

“I'm so grateful to the League for always being inclusive and respecting the true principles of democracy,” he said.

Haugh: Militarization of Police Made Ferguson Inevitable

by Rachel Mills

Sean Haugh, Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate,  just released a new video with his thoughts on the events in Ferguson and the militarization of police. It's a very troubling trend and we need to be aware of what's happening all over the country.

Any town could turn into Ferguson in a moment, really. Some 400 police departments in North Carolina alone have military equipment from the same Pentagon program that has turned Ferguson into a war zone.
