    Dear LP of NC,

The following is a short video that I produced that might help you get out the vote for the Libertarian Party. Feel free to email a link to it to your party members, post it to your Facebook page, and/or tweet it on out.

    Sincerely yours,

This is a policy question for Brad Hessel running for the North Carolina District 15 Senate seat.

    Dear Mr Hessel,

I am writing to ask your position on the following issues that are important to me.

    1. Climate change looms as one of the greatest challenges facing humanity. It is a threat that undermines peace and stability in our country and throughout the world. Will you work meaningfully to advance bipartisan North Carolina solutions to climate change?

    2. Will you support the creation of a nonpartisan commission to draw the lines for voting districts?

I am asking the questions of the major candidates for the office of North Carolina District 15 Senator. Your response to the questions will be important in my voting decisions this fall, so I look forward to your response.

In addition, my church, Community United Church of Christ in Raleigh, NC, plans to post all responses on our church website to help others in our congregation make voting decisions.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

    Thank you for your time.

For your info I will be running for sheriff at the next election as a Constitutional officer and I do not believe in any requirement of permits to carry even concealed

Hello. I am with the LP in Washington State and have been contacted by someone in North Carolina regarding a medical issue. This person has a serious medical problem and I am trying to help them out with it and they did ask if anything was being done with mmj in North Carolina and I replied that I did not know but I would ask someone. Can you tell me what is happening with legalization or put me in touch with those who are working on the issue?

    Thank you.

Please tell me how I can get a Johnson/Weld 2016 sign to put in my yard and how can I get a sticker for my car. This will be the first time I have ever put a political sign in my yard or a political sticker on my car.

Hi Fellow Libertarians. I am not a NC resident. Officially I vote in Florida. But we actually live on our boat and we will be here in Morehead City for the next few months. I’d love to meet some like minded folks so if there’s anyone in the Morehead/Beaufort/New Bern area you could put me in touch with that would be great. I am a long time, disenchanted former Republican, doing everything I can to spread the word about the LP and Gary Johnson. Hope to hear from you!

Question: Why are insurance companies included in the national platform. If we all have the right to make our personal decisions regarding healthcare why must insurance companies be “promoted” in our platform? Insurance companies add an unnecessary cost and interfere in the individuals right to a completely open and non regulated healthcare system. All healthcare providers from physicians to hospitals should govern their services without the endless regulations imposed on the people and all of healthcare by the insurance industry!

I heard there are still some delegate spots to fill. If so, I interested in being one, but I don’t know that much about it. I’m a libertarian and registered as unaffiliated. Would I be qualified? And would you mind describing what all being a delegate would involve?

    Thank you so much!

    Greetings JJ,

I hope my correspondence finds you in good health and spirits. I wanted to thank you for allowing me to come address the Libertarian Party of North Carolina. It was my pleasure to speak to your affiliate about Libertarianism and the African American Community. I was happy to lend my experience about attracting more African Americans to the party.

The two people who attracted me to liberty was Robert Sarvis and James Carr during the 2014 cycle when they were running for Governor and United States Congress. Per my presentation, the Libertarian Party was invited to the Richmond Crusade for Voters Political Forum at Virginia Union University in November of 2014. After listening to the platform of Rob and James, I started to research about liberty and I realized that it was for me.

We need to take liberty to the African American community. We need to be seen in the community to show the importance of liberty issues. It would be my honor to assist your candidates on the campaign trail. I would be happy to speak and use music to reach the African American North Carolinians and teach them about liberty. If you all need any fund raising, audio / video assistance please feel free to reach out to Mandy and I.

On behalf of our Chair Bo Brown (Chesterfield), Vice Chair Andy Bakker (Alexandria), may I thank you in advance for your hospitality. I look forward to coming back to visit you very soon. Have a productive day!

Hello! I am in Raleigh. I just started a conservative/libertarian blog a few days ago. Check it out. If you like it I would appreciate any help you can give me. Links, likes, comments, whatever. Very little content yet because I’ve only been writing a few days but more and better articles are on the way. Thanks, John.

Our economic discussion group" which meets monthly to discuss and explore general economic ideas, would like to have a speaker from the Libertarian Party attend one of our meetings to discuss some of the fundamental economic positions of the Party. We are a politically diverse group, numbering 14 members and have been meeting for 3 years. The group is derived from the NCSU OLLI program although it is a separate organizational entity.

    Fellow Libertarians,

For a specific plan on how libertarians can take back America in less than two years without firing a shot or winning a single election visit It is time to stop playing and expose how sovereigns live.

Hello! I’m reaching out because I’m a fan of the libertarian parties and also a digital marketer. I had an idea I wanted to pass to help expose the libertarian party more. Google offers a consumer survey product which delivers instant survey results via the web. I thought that’d be a great way to ask populations if they’ve ever heard of the libertarian part, if they’re tired of a two party system, if they’d like to learn about what Libertarianism means, etc. It’d be a great way to gather data outside of the normal channels of volunteers and get a more open assessment to help know where your struggles lie. Just a thought.

I hope you find it useful. Here’s the link:

Please consider reading my novel (or listening to it) at

The novel describes the attainment of the libertarian ideal in the only way that ideal can come to fruition. It’s a fun read with no adds and the novel is complete. You may download the MP3 files and make multiple copies. It’s good for commuting or for long trips because it will keep you awake.

Thanks for your time and attention.
