Discussion of current political events from a Libertarian perspective. Regular weekly meeting hosted (this week) by Olen the 3rd for NC House 38, candidate in 2016 and WakeLP Secretary.

Starting at 7:30, Olen will moderate a focused discussion on education policy. While traditinally, libertarians have been skeptical of the efficacy of public education, in Wake County our main priority is enabling more choice for parents and students. To that end, we are supporting the concept of “backpack budgeting,” whereby the taxpayer funding for each student follows her or him to whatever school is actually attended (including home school). That and other topics will be on the agenda.
