Volunteers Needed for State Fair in Raleigh
The State Fair in Raleigh starts October 11. We need volunteers to talk to fairgoers about the Libertarian Party and our wonderful candidates for 2012 – including Gary Johnson and Barbara Howe. Free Fair admission for volunteers! Info about the Fair is here: http://www.ncstatefair.org Please let us know when you can volunteer. One Stop Early Voting starts October 18 and runs through November 3. Even if you have not registered to vote in this election cycle, it’s not too late. Visit the one-stop voting location in your county with your ID to register to vote as well as cast your ballot.

The Durham-Orange LP will be hosting a sign wave for Gary Johnson and Barbara Howe on Cameron Blvd in Durham, just off the 15-501 exit this Saturday, 10/20, to take advantage of the traffic heading to the UNC v Duke football game. We will hang out from 5pm till about 7pm. Jason will bring some signs but feel free to make your own at home too!

The LP of Burke County will be meeting on Wednesday, October 24th at 7pm in the downstairs meeting room of the Morganton Public Library. We will be formulating an activist plan to promote the legalized use of industrial hemp in North Carolina and will also discuss Louis E. Carabini’s book Inclined to Liberty.
