Volunteers Needed for State Fair in Raleigh
The State Fair in Raleigh starts October 11. We need volunteers to talk to fairgoers about the Libertarian Party and our wonderful candidates for 2012 – including Gary Johnson and Barbara Howe. Free Fair admission for volunteers! Info about the Fair is here: http://www.ncstatefair.org Please let us know when you can volunteer. The Libertarian Party of Lee County will be meeting every Tuesday at 7pm at Java Express in Sanford. They will be organizing to get the message out about Libertarian candidates Gary Johnson (President), Barbara Howe (Governor) and Brian Irving (Congressional District 2).

The Libertarian Party will be starting up a new joint Durham-Orange County affiliate on October 17th at 7:30pm. We will hold our first meeting at Bailey’s located at 1722 North Fordham Boulevard, Chapel Hill, NC. We are going to start building a group to influence politics locally, run candidates and provide stronger support for our statewide and national candidates. On October 18th early voting will begin across the state. Make sure to get out and vote early. Also, we could use volunteers to work outside of early voting polling stations to try to convince voters to switch last minute to Gary Johnson, Barbara Howe and our local candidates.
