
Libertarian Presidential Candidate, Michael Badnarik, Begins Campaign Swing Through NC
The Libertarian candidate for President of the United States,
Michael Badnarik has begun his Independence Day weekend campaign swing
through North Carolina. Here is an updated schedule of his
appearances:
Saturday, July 3 - Harrisburg, Greensboro, and Durham:
- 9 - 11am: Independence Day parade in Harrisburg
- 11am - 2pm: Cabarrus County LP Booth at the Independence Day Festival in Harrisburg
- 3:30 - 6pm: Guilford County LP Booth at the Fun Fourth Festival. Badnarik and the Libertarian candidate for North Carolina governor, Barbara Howe, will both speak in Greensboro.
- 7:30 - 10pm: Semi-formal fundraising dinner in Durham at Café Parizade.
Sunday, July 4 - Mebane:
- 11am - 7pm: Second Amendment/Free Speech Rally for Independence
Day at Mace Sporting Goods, just off I-85. Barbara Howe, Libertarian
candidate for governor, is speaking at 3:30 p.m. Badnarik will speak
afterwards for 30 minutes. Badnarik, Howe and other LP candidates
will be there all day.
Monday, July 5 - Raleigh, Fayetteville, Wilmington:
- 3 - 4pm: Radio interview with Jerry Agar, WPTF AM680, Raleigh
- 6 - 7pm: Radio interview with Harvard Jennings, WAAV AM980, Wilmington
- 7:30 - 8pm: (tentative): Press conference at Wilmington
waterfront and interview with local Libertarian Radio Station.
- 8 - 9pm: Dinner in Wilmington with the New Hanover LP
