Biggest Tax Day Protests yet
The Libertarian Party of North Carolina will be sponsoring Tax Day
protests in at least nine cities across the state. These will take place
at various central post offices the evening of Thursday, April 15th.
Libertarians will be holding signs, greeting taxpayers, and handing out "Million Dollar Bills" to advocate the immediate repeal of the federal
personal income tax.

There may be other cities added between now and Thursday. (High Point and
Jacksonville are two probable, but not completely confirmed, locations.)

The Libertarian Party calls for ending the federal income tax now and
replacing it with nothing. Libertarians would match abolition of taxes
with equal reductions in government spending. In all areas, Libertarians
seek to fund government activities through voluntary means.
