The LPNC conducts much of its work via committees. There are two standing committees established by our Bylaws: the Bylaws and Rules Committee and the Platform Committee. There are also several working committees which are set up by the LPNC Executive Committee. Membership in all committees is open to LPNC members. If you want to volunteer to serve, contact the LPNC chair or the committee member listed below.
The Bylaws and Rules Committee is appointed by the Executive Committee to recommend changes to the LPNC Bylaws and/or Convention Rules. The changes that are recommended are considered by delegates at the LPNC State Convention in odd number years (Bylaws Article VIII, Section 1). This committee has an online discussion group. Committee discussions can be viewed by anyone. To join this committee, contact Phil Jacobson.

It seems that wherever the Welfare State is involved, the moral precept, "Thou shalt not steal,"becomes altered to say: "Thou shalt not steal, except for what thou deemest to be a worthy cause, where thou thinkest that thou canst use the loot for a better purpose than wouldst the victim of the theft." -- F.A.
