LPNC ANNOUNCEMENTS - March 24, 2008

DON'T MISS DINNER!!!

You must register for the LPNC Convention by Tuesday, March 25 in order to guarantee your meals for the Saturday luncheon and for the Saturday evening banquet.

You don't want to miss dining with your fellow Libertarians and joining in on the lively conversation. At our luncheon, we will have a suggested topic for discussion at each table, so it will be an opportunity to explore the issues face to face. It will also be a time to discuss issues with various key people such as some of the presidential candidates, our LNC Representative Bob Barr, and any of the LPNC members running for Executive Committee positions or statewide office.

Our banquet speaker is Dallas Woodhouse who is the State Director of Americans for Prosperity. AFP has a long history of libertarian activism. Board members of the organization include David Koch, LP Vice Presidential nominee in the 1980 campaign, and economist Walter Williams. Most recently on the national level, AFP led the fight against "pork laden earmarks." On the state level, AFP is helping to lead the charge against forced annexation. Dallas will address "Fighting for Libertarian Principles in Government."

To purchase a delegate pass, the cost is $25.00. You can add on a luncheon for $15 and a banquet for $30. Meals must be ordered by tomorrow, March 25.

All Libertarians are welcome to attend the Friends and Family reception on Friday evening, whether coming to the Convention or not. Even if you are not buying meals, please consider registering early. It helps the committee plan how many delegate packages to provide. Please register soon.
